Description

This is a replacement glass for Lopi Sheffield Stoves. The measurements are 19 1/4" x 11 1/16" and accommodate the door with a  top arch webbing detail, but the glass is rectangular. Our replacement glasses are made with pyroceramic glass that withstands high temperatures. Check your dimensions carefully. Several sizes were manufactured.

The glass must not contact the door frame or glass clips directly. The glass gasket and glass clip gaskets must contact the glass to prevent cracking. Do not over-tighten the glass clips. The glass gasket lays against the door shell along the perimeter of the glass. Remove the screws and glass clips to access the glass. Each glass clip has a small piece of gasket attached where it contacts the glass. When installing, do not over-tighten the screws. Cut small sections of the glass gasket to place under the glass clips.


A Note About Our Glass: Unlike some manufacturers, we do not use tempered glass. Tempered glass should NEVER be used in a wood fuel stove, it is not suitable for high heat use. Our glass is made to resist very high temperatures up to 1,400° F / 760° C with low thermal expansion.

MFG Instructions: The glass must not contact the door frame or glass clips directly. The glass gasket and glass clip gaskets must contact the glass to prevent cracking. Please open and inspect your glass to make sure that it has arrived intact. Damage Claims for broken glass from shipping MUST be made within 72 hrs of delivery, no exceptions. Glass breaking from after installation is NOT covered under warranty, this is due to improper installation. If you do not feel comfortable replacing your glass, please contact a licensed technician.   • The description gives dimensions and says “with a top arch”. Is the glass itself arched, or does that refer to the metal part of the door?

    It refers to the door shape. The glass will accommodate the arched webbing on the door, but the glass itself is rectangular. Unfortunately, our picture is a generic one that does not show the actual glass. This glass requires a 1/4" rope gasket for installation. Here's a link to the parts manual.
